Dan Grable serves as chief operating officer and director of acquisitions for Birtcher Development & Investments. He is responsible for the oversight of all operations and acquisitions, as well as third-party joint venture partner and lender relationships
Grable brings over 28 years of investment, finance and management experience in the commercial and residential real estate markets to Birtcher. Prior to joining the team in 2008, Grable served as president and co-founder of Pharris Properties, a private equity real estate group where he oversaw all investment activity including transactions with a total capitalization of approximately $425 million.
Previously, Grable served as both the chief financial officer and chief investment officer for the Commercial Property Group of LNR Property Corporation. At LNR he was responsible for assisting in the sourcing and underwriting of new business opportunities, negotiating terms and structures of deals with joint venture partners and for the procurement of project-level and unsecured line financing from financial institutions. Grable was also responsible for the oversight of all financial, accounting, treasury, information systems, personnel and administrative functions for the Commercial Property Group. During his tenure at LNR, he was involved in more than $4 billion of real estate transactions, including both commercial and residential product types.
Grable earned a Masters of Business Administration from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting/Finance from the University of Southern California.
